For four days, we’ll gather on one of Georgia’s most beautiful coastal islands for a thoughtfully curated retreat designed around the things we love most: hobbies, friendship, beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and time to simply enjoy ourselves.

This is not a retreat where you’ll be rushing from one activity to the next. There is no pressure to be productive. No packed itinerary. Just a beautiful setting, a wonderful group of women, and plenty of opportunities to play, create, relax, and connect.

Come with your best friend, bring a group, or come completely on your own. You’ll arrive as a guest and leave with new friends.

Sunday | Welcome to Hobby Holiday

Arrive at The Jekyll Island Club, settle into your beautiful room, and let the retreat begin.

Join us for an elegant welcome cocktail party at the iconic Jekyll Island Club. Enjoy an open bar, generous heavy hors d’oeuvres, and effortless conversation as we gather with fellow guests to kick off our time together.

Dress to impress in your favorite cocktail party attire for an evening of beautiful surroundings, delicious bites, and new friendships. Afterward, the evening is yours to enjoy at your own pace—whether that means mahjong, needlepoint, or simply soaking in the charm of the island.

There’s nowhere you need to be and nothing you need to accomplish.

Monday | A Day to Make Your Own

Wake up at The Jekyll Island Club and ease into a beautiful morning. Join us for a light breakfast with coffee, tea, and good company before the day’s activities begin.

For those looking to learn something new, we’ll offer optional classes in both the morning and afternoon, with opportunities to sign up for needlepoint and mahjong experiences. Choose the sessions that interest you, or enjoy a slower pace with your own project, a seat at the mahjong table, or a little time to yourself. Snacks, coffee, and tea will be available throughout the day, so you can refuel whenever you need a break.

At midday, we’ll gather for a luxurious High Tea lunch. Expect an elegant setting, delicious bites, and plenty of time to relax and connect with your fellow guests.

Between classes and throughout the afternoon, Jekyll Island is yours to explore. Spend some time at the spa, take a horseback ride, explore the island by bike, browse the shops, find a quiet spot with a book, or simply do absolutely nothing. This is your time to enjoy the island at your own pace.

Then comes one of our favorite Hobby Holiday traditions!

Slip into your most fabulous pajamas and join us for bingo night. We’ll have multiple rounds of bingo, wonderful prizes, games, and plenty of laughter. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, an abundance of sweet treats, and a cash bar as we settle in for a festive evening of friendly competition and fun.

It’s the perfect way to end a day filled with creativity, connection, and a little indulgence.

Tuesday | Another Day to Enjoy

There’s still more time to enjoy the magic of Hobby Holiday!

Ease into the morning with a light breakfast and coffee or tea before another full day of creativity, connection, and relaxation. Optional classes will be offered in both the morning and afternoon, giving you another opportunity to try something new in needlepoint or mahjong—or simply spend the day enjoying your favorite hobbies at your own pace.

We’ll gather for another lovely group lunch, with snacks, coffee, and tea available throughout the day to keep you refreshed between activities.

Whether you spend your time stitching, playing mahjong, exploring the island, or catching up with your new friends, Tuesday is yours to enjoy however you please.

Dinner is on your own, leaving you free to make plans with friends, discover a favorite island restaurant, or enjoy a quiet evening at The Jekyll Island Club.

One more day to unwind, connect, and savor everything that makes Hobby Holiday special.

Wednesday | Until We Meet Again

All good things must come to an end, but we’re not saying goodbye just yet!

Join us for a final group brunch at The Jekyll Island Club as we gather one last time to share stories, exchange hugs, and celebrate the friendships made during our time together.

It’s the perfect opportunity to savor one last morning of connection before heading home, with wonderful memories, new inspiration, and hopefully plans to see your Hobby Holiday friends again soon.

Your Home for the Retreat

We’ve secured a special Hobby Holiday room rate of $179 per night, plus taxes and fees, for double occupancy at the historic Jekyll Island Club.

Once you purchase your retreat ticket, you’ll receive information on how to reserve your room.

Your retreat ticket and hotel room are booked separately.

If you plan to drive to Jekyll Island, please note that a $10 daily parking fee is required for island access. These fees help support the island’s conservation efforts, maintenance, and operations.
